We opened our doors in 2005 as a small group of families who wanted a place where their children could learn Islam in English — without losing depth, scholarship, or community.
Today we run a K–9 school, a Sunday madressah, weekly programs, and host commemorations and celebrations across the Islamic calendar. Everyone is welcome at our centre, whatever your background.

A K–9 private school rooted in Islamic values, nurturing mind, heart, and spirit alongside the BC curriculum.
Al-Mustafa Private School is a K–9 institution providing holistic, values-based education aligned with the BC curriculum. We support formation of a strong Muslim identity grounded in the guidance of the Holy Qur'an and the teachings of the Prophet ص and his purified family.
We go beyond the traditional classroom to nurture each child's mind, inspire their heart, and elevate their spiritual awareness.

Every aspect of our school community is guided by these foundational principles.
Every subject — from poetry to physics — is taught with a quiet awareness of Allah at the centre.
Children grow up handling the Qur’an with care and learning the names of those who carried it before them.
Why we do something matters as much as what we do. Students are taught to pause and ask the question.
From classmates to the natural world — kindness is a habit we practise, not a sentiment we describe.
Confidence rooted in Islamic character. Children leave knowing both who they are and how to treat people.
Full BC curriculum alignment with serious attention to literacy, numeracy, and the humanities.
A nurturing environment where students grow academically, spiritually, and socially — every single day.
Rigorous academic programming aligned with BC curriculum equips students with knowledge, critical thinking, and skills to thrive.
Moral, emotional, and spiritual enrichment helps students develop Islamic character and a genuine love of learning rooted in faith.
Through Qur'anic studies, prayer, and reflection, students build a personal relationship with their Creator and purpose in life.
